Since COVID has brought travel and tourism to a standstill across the globe, traveling seems to be off the table for the foreseeable future. WOL partnered with Hong Kong Professional Airline Pilots Association (HKPAPA) to take our members on the ultimate flight simulator experience. This inspired our members to rekindle their love of traveling and discover a new passion for flying a plane.
Our shared vision of helping members discover fun new aspirations has led us to form a partnership with HKPAPA, a company that re-creates the sensation of what it is like to fly an aircraft. All their flight instructors are full-time professional airline pilots who are eager to share their knowledge and experience. Their training facility is equipped with state-of-the-art flight simulators which WOL members were given the rare opportunity to try out.
WOL members will learn how to operate a plane under the tutelage of a professional pilot, and we flew high above Hong Kong’s skyscrapers, all the way to Thailand and Japan.
WOL members can test their pilot skills in a real-time simulation by choosing their own destination, time of day and weather conditions. Apart from learning practical flying skills such as general handling and landing, our members can also explore beautiful scenery viewing 3D buildings, runways, and air traffic in high resolution.
We are so thrilled to have delivered the magic of flying to our members despite the pandemic and enabling them to fly far away from covid travel restrictions. As expected, our members came out of this experience reinvigorated from pandemic fatigue and with a fresh perspective gained through elevating high above the clouds.
Come and fly with us and rise above the clouds!
